The opening shot of Face Ryders is a puckered, hairy asshole in extreme close up (just in case there were any doubts about its thematic content). Filmed on location at Faultline in Los Angeles, Face Ryders features some innovative rimming techniques and technology (like the spring-loaded toilet seat cover, for instance). Some of these studs really throw themselves into their work and bury their tongues and their faces into eager ass crack,and others, well, look like they'd rather be elsewhere. In addition to the initial anal buffet, there is quite a bit of fellatio going on in this release as well as a fair amount of actual fucking. (Andy Dill delivers an extended, muscular pounding to an equally hairy bottom in a chain-linked sling.) The whole scene can resemble a sort of celebrity car wash while everyone is lapping butt simultaneously, but these sequences are few and far between. Unlike Face Ryders, Field Trip has a plot: Three college students from an undisclosed university somewhere in the Midwest blow off some steam after finals on California's Catalina Island. One by one, they all meet very friendly locals and fuck away the trials and tribulations of academia as tourists on the West Coast. The men featured in Field Trip fall more on the twink spectrum than their more mature and grizzled counterparts inFace Ryders, which may explain why the sex is so much more conventional. Excellent production and great photography in both releases make this Double Pack an exceptional value.

RETAILING: Two full-length DVDs for the price of one will appeal to the budget-minded customer.
