Opening with a Troy Michaels photo shoot, viewers get to see the ins and outs of just what it takes to make a color-glossy jerk off mag which segues into - what is purported to be - Adam Hart's farewell interview which winds its way into another photo shoot which... you get the picture.

Director Drew Warner has created gay porn's answer to all those nightly entertainment tele-rags, but this raises the question, "Who really cares?" And, without the mock-umentary sense of humor of Shooting Porn, it all seems much too dry.

Some nice fucks scenes, including Mark Anthony and Giovanni Corleone's, are interspersed throughout, but the overall presentation is lacking. With us stuck in the modern world of hyper-media and graphic gizmos, the production values are much too primitive - sometimes Warner sounds like he's interviewing his subjects via tin cans and string.
