What is it about those cotton mesh pouches with their hidden prizes that drives so many of us crazy? Director Steven Scarborough uses our fascination with jockstraps to his advantage, serving up four scenes and a lackluster solo featuring gay-for-pay Mike Roberts. In fact, the only yawns in Jockstrap are during Roberts' self-diddle. The rest of flick smokes, taking viewers to several different and interesting locales, from the locker room to one couple's personal playpen (Tyler Riggz/Vinnie D'Angelo). The videography and casting, as with all things Hot House, are flawless, though unlike the swimwear modeled so beautifully in the Trunks series, Scarborough doesn't quite manage to turn the jockstrap into an object of desire. Take Ty LeBeouf's caboose, for example - brilliantly framed in a black jock on the DVD sleeve, LeBeouf's ass is stripped bare too quickly, and will likely disappoint hardcore jockstrap fetishists who like to see guys in their straps as well as out.

RETAILING: Ty LeBeouf's gorgeous can on the DVD sleeve is a beacon for brisk sales. This one's sure to be another Hot House hit.
