No triskaideka-phobe, alcoholic Paul Morgan takes The 13th Step in a 12-step program by fucking impressionable, newly-sober Tony West. Morgan lives up to his moniker "the shooter" quite impressively. The plot thickens and is propelled along via a series of AA meetings, the pick-up bars of the 90's. The meetings are noticeably bereft of both cigarettes and copious amounts of black coffee. After West has a particularly acrobatic threeway, the jilted Morgan plummets off the staircase and hits the vodka.
