When Donnie gets a call that his new vid's got to be ready by Monday, he gets down to work -- and out of his clothes. Russo's unfailing erotic logic is one of his directorial virtues. After all, who gets more turned on by a tape than an auteur watching his own fantasies? His performing virtues are also on display, since he stars in the video-within-the-video. The action is mildly rough with a leather scent.
