Taking a semi-science fiction tone, backed by a superior jazzy score (by the Toxic Twins), Director Steele's men do their jumping through some pretty hot hoops. Fox is a natural fox, and the sex he has with Dillon ("This your first time in prison? You're gonna need a friend."), followed by some humongously-hung dude ("That's the first time I was ever fucked!" -- say what?) is adventurous and fun.
With no real tie-in to the four stories except the amusing Bruno doing narration a la Rod Sterling (smoking a cigarette in a harsh light with a black background), they stretch for the sci-fi connections, but since it's all about sexual fantasy, most of it doesn't matter. What does work is the pairing of guys. Everyone commits to the material and gives it their all. The sequence with a young man tied to a post which is decorated with (plastic) skulls and candles is both amusing and spooky. There's variety in the imagery, with slings and mirrors, glory-hole booths and handsome young men feeding each other their large dicks. Knight Gallery 2 is heads-and-tails above the norm.
