REVIEWS

Critical Rating: AAA

This obviously low-budget production, with a cast of nonprofessional actors (evidently military men on leave), creates a strong impression on the viewer because of its surrealistic blending of reality and fantasy, due in part to the direction but most significantly to the editing by Michael Zen. The viewer may be confused, but he will also be intrigued – and the action contains the spontaneous, unpredictable quality you would expect from nonprofessionals. Not a masterpiece, but a tape well worth watching nonetheless.
