I'm usually skeptical when a straight porno company releases a gay title. But this first gay release from Infinity rose above my expectations, most likely because they took the time and trouble to hire a gay director with other titles under his belt, and he hired some well known established actors. Compared to some of his first attempts, Gino is becoming more sure of himself as a director, and it shows. Edward Lee has penned a witty script about one man's (Mitch) inability to commit himself to just one relationship because of his supposed need to "discover himself", even though he has men falling in love with him right and left.
As the plot progresses, the characters talk to the camera, though the dialogue is aimed at Mitch's character, and this helps to involve you in the plot. The camerawork and editing is solid, and it's well paced and coherent with Mitch Green a standout natural.
The bad point? Well, the sex never seems to quite ignite only smolder. Competent, yes. Exciting, no. Still a good production from a director we should all keep our eyes on.
