Critical Rating: AA 1/2

The inconsistency in directorial credit is typical of the inattention to detail that mars what could have been a superior production. The cast is unfamiliar but attractive and the action is uniformly hot. But the director apparently believes that clinical close-ups are all that the viewer wants. Mid and long-range shots are almost entirely missing. This French production has a great deal of promise, but the director – whomever he is – needs to clean up his act and pay closer attention to what he is doing. Okay for stores with a large gay catalog.
