For the most part this video is about as cheap and tacky as the sweaty motel rooms with the broken air conditioning units — hence the title. Thor Stephens' one dimensional story line about guests burdened with stifling rooms and how everyone copes gets pretty dull, while most of the scenes seem to be set up with very little imagination. However, in spite of its numerous flaws, this video can take pride in its in-focus, deep and very penetrating close-ups, all of which are extremely noteworthy! Also worth mentioning are Jay Corey's satisfying performance as the concierge who's "willing to get and give anything to the guest", and sweaty Tony Belmonte's genuine eagerness to hop aboard Nick Manetti.
