This well-directed prison tale centers on a new guard who must come to terms with the sexual circus that involves inmates as well as staff. The five episodes are connected with a script that tries a bit too hard to analyze the psychology of "straight" men who "go gay" in a womanless setting.

But the action is well-paced, ranging from duos to four-way orgies that match guard with inmate, black with white. The technical quality is exceptionally good, and this entry in Catalina's new "Black Gold" series bodes well for the future.
