Director Chi Chi LaRue delivers a well-crafted script that tells the story of Joey Stefano's infatuation with his stepfather, Mitchell Cooke. Stefano gets his second opportunity (Sex, Lies and Videocassettes the first) to prove he can act remarkably well, in addition to his sexual prowess.

AVN's Best Newcomer Ryan Yeager holds up his share as the stepfather's secret lover. Though his scene with Cooke is strictly oral, he lights a fire that few will forget. His all-the-way coupling with Brett Williams is pure ecstasy. Sharon Kane provides delightful diversion as Stefano's girlfriend, who just can't get her man excited. And Stefano's "dream" of sex between two pool boys (Dusty and Tony Davis) contains a poignant element, as both men use the name "Joey" in their love talk.

Though the three-way scene with Stefano, Stone and Kennedy seems structurally out of place and some of the camerawork proves uneven, the video is an impressive step forward in LaRue's career as a writer/director. Don't miss it.
