This "how-to" tape, the first in a series planned by Vivid, is far more delightful than I would ever have expected, primarily because of an exceptionally clever script (writer uncredited) and a fine job of narration by Michael Brawn, who has the physical presence and the vocal delivery of a professional actor. Lon Flexxe adds even more spice to the cast, and the completely oral action avoids monotony through the intersplicing of action with narration.
And let's face the sad truth —most gay men (at least those of us outside of L.A. or San Francisco) need some helpful hints on how to do it well. Each variation on the basic is given a clever name —"Air Head," "The Over Under from The Land Down Under," "The Eiffel Tower," "Southern Style" and "Yankee Doodle Dandy" —that fits its essence and makes it easy to remember. Now if only the tape included an actor to practice on.
